The World's Best Film Streaming Link
A film about people striving to be the world's best at their passions and living their best lives.
Elizabeth Fortescue / Sunday Telegraph Sydney:
“He dreamt of being a filmmaker. So he set out on a five-year, three-continent mission to make a film about 13 people brave enough to defy expectation, follow their hearts, and be the very best they could be at their chosen occupation. Real-life characters include a woman who leads tours of London’s public toilets, a Swedish dog-sitter and an Australian father-son music duo”
“Whether these people are or are not the best is irrelevant; ultimately the film is an affirmation of life, self esteem and the philosophy that you can do whatever you want if you really set your mind to it, as the director has proven with his sweet and uplifting film.”
The Weekend Notes:
“This is a beautiful and captivating film and Joshua treats his subjects with the utmost respect. The viewer is taken with Joshua on a journey of self discovery and is given an insight to various cultures, whilst being introduced to a diverse cast of characters. We meet a kindly Thai taxi driver, a lovable London loo lady, the mysterious "man of the cloth", the world's best 'bummer' of cigarettes, as well as an amazing puppeteer, and a truly extraordinary Holocaust survivor. Although each life story is vastly different, Joshua Belinfante finds similarities with his own life and the fact that each person has managed to follow their passion to the best of their ability.”
“For those of you who might have wondered I have been reviewing movies for more then a couple of years and how I tell the difference between a great movie and a really great movie is the ability to reach inside me and have a genuine effect on my emotions. Now some filmmakers are capable of that for a moment or two. Joshua Belinfante’s The World’s Best Movie radiated happiness for its entire runtime.”
